ANAHEIM, CALIF.—Extron Electronics isn’t interested in the whole process of lights, camera, action; instead the company has introduced its one-touch recording system StudioStation that is designed to offer high quality video and audio presentations.
StudioStation can be turned on by inserting a USB stick and pressing the record button. With Extron’s scaling and flexible signal processing, StudioStation can record nearly all HDMI source resolutions. The systems are customizable to support a range of installations, but the default recording setup is configured for 720p at 5 Mbps, which produces a MP4 media file. The system also features an embedded web page to customize the configuration.
The StudioStation system is designed for use with flipped classroom recordings, lecture capture, student assessments, rehearsal spaces and moot courts, to name a few.
