This Unique New VR Experience Lets You Become Part of a Giant Sequoia Tree

Marshmallow Laser Feast’s new virtual reality experience Treehugger: Wahoma is a unique opportunity for viewers to view the inner working of a giant sequoia tree–and eventually even become a part of its complex system in an unexpected and somewhat trippy way.

“When most people look at trees, they don’t necessarily see them as being as alive, because they move and grow so much more slowly than we do,” Ersinhan Ersin, Marshmallow Laser Feast’s creative director, to Fast Company‘s Co.Create. “We’re trying to give people a new perception of trees as creatures just as vibrant and alive as we are.”
