NBC's 'Timeless' Releases Tie-In VR Experience

NBC's time travel show Timeless is giving fans a chance to experience the 1969 moon landing for themselves.

In a tie-in with the episode "Space Race," the show has released a VR experience that allows users to further explore Apollo 11's mission control room.

"Ever since I got an early look at what virtual reality can do, I was very intrigued with trying to figure out a way to use it to enhance what I do as my regular day job," Timeless co-creator Shawn Ryan says in the behind-the-scenes clip below. "Timeless seemed like a perfect opportunity, since we go back to these amazing worlds each week, to dive deeper into the world that we've created."
