YouTube to Stream Olympic Highlights from 60 Broadcasters

Although NBC has the full TV rights to the Olympics in the U.S., YouTube has partnered with more than 60 international broadcasters–including the U.K.’s BBC and Japan’s NHK–to bring official game highlights to its site.

YouTube will also be sending 15 of its top creators to Rio where they will provide original coverage of parties and other events surrounding the games. In addition to posting regular YouTube videos, they are expected to use both mobile live-streaming and 360-degree videos to do so.
