Sigur Rós Live-Streams a Live Soundtrack to a 24-Hour Drive

Earlier this week, Icelandic band Sigur Rós took a 24-hour drive through their native country and live-streamed the whole thing, all while creating a road trip soundtrack on-the-fly with generative music software Bronze.

“In a day and age of instant gratification and everything moving so fast, we wanted to do the exact opposite,” bandmember Jónsi Birgisson told Pitchfork. “Slow TV is counter-active to the world we live in, in that it happens in real time and real slow.”
