Oculus Unveils VR for Good Program

Oculus has announced its VR for Good program, designed to help both students and professionals make virtual reality films that incite social change.

The first program, 360 Filmmakers Challenge for Students, is a mentorship and production program for high school students that will give them the equipment and education to create 360-degree films about their communities.

The second part of the program, 360 Bootcamp for Nonprofits, will pair up filmmakers with 10 nonprofits, who can nominate their programs to take part in the initiative starting on May 30th. The films will play at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.
