Bloomberg’s Emily Chang talks to Akamai co-founder and CEO Tom Leighton about the history of his company and the rapidly evolving world of video streaming.
“I think congestion is going to be an even bigger problem,” says Leighton about the challenges the Internet is facing. “You already see it today when you try to watch your online movies and you don’t get the highest quality. It’s cause you’re not getting enough bits per second through that peering point in the Internet. And that’s the problem that we created the company to help solve.”
