Netflix Heads Say Screen Size Doesn’t Matter

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings and chief content officer Ted Sarandos spoke to VentureBeat about their original content strategy, which is centerd on quality above all else.

“We’re not trying to adapt to the size of a screen,” said Sarandos, noting that the company’s young user base doesn’t have a problem watching a show on a smartphone as opposed to an HD TV and is more interested in the ability to watch the same content, at the same spot, across multiple devices.
