Last week, a team from The Verge released a 360-degree interview with Michelle Obama they shot in January. And in the below video, they explain exactly how they did it, from the camera set-up to post-production.
As director Tom Connors says, “Capturing it was kind of the easy part, honestly. Shooting in 360 is not actually that difficult. You set the camera down, you turn it on, and it goes. And then the post-production side of things is where we really took our time and tried to craft our story and figure out all the creative avenues we wanted to do.”
