The experience is tied to Todd Haynes’ acclaimed film Carol and launched in conjunction with T Brand Studios Great Performers VR film. It marks the New York Times‘ fourth virtual reality sponsored piece since the November launch of its app. So far it has launched one ad per editorial work.
