Virtual Reality Will be a Game-Changer for Sports Programming

Virtual reality and sports seem to be a match made in heaven. At least according to Doug Perlman, founder of Sports Media Advisors, who speaks to Forbes' Mike Ozanian and Bob Lorenz about the future of sports programming.

"I think [VR is] a total game-changer. It's a transformational way to enjoy sports, and lots of other types of programming as well, but I think sports in particular," says Perlman. "I think the easiest way to picture it is it really transports the viewer to the best seat in the house for virtually any sporting event where this technology is deployed."
