YouTube has announced two new VR features via its Android app that can be accessed with a smartphone and a Google Cardboard viewer.

First, YouTube is now supporting VR video with a Cardboard icon available on select videos in the medium (like this Hunger Games experience) that will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the offerings with your viewer.

But even standard videos will now have a Cardboard option that will turn the viewing experience into a virtual movie theater.

YouTube's announcement is the latest in a series that is making VR more accessible by the day.
