RYOT and the AP collaborate on Seeking Home, a 360-degree film which places the viewer squarely in the shoes of migrants living in squalid conditions in tents in Calais, France in the hopes of starting a new life in the UK. The film showcases one of virtual reality's most powerful boons when it comes to non-fiction, acting like--as Chris Milk so aptly put it in a TED Talk this year--"the ultimate empathy machine."
