Broad City creators Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson–and keynote presenters for New York Internet Week–know a thing or two about using digital and social media to spread the word about their show. After all, their Comedy Central series started out as a self-produced web series.
As Glazer tells MediaPost, “Before coming to Comedy Central, we were very used to using social media to do our own P.R. Now it’s fantastic to have ComedyCentral’s digital team to work with us. All comedy these days is fueled by the Internet.”
