ABC Family is using a virtual reality app to promote its new show Stitchers. Stitchers: Hack The Case allows users to solve a murder mystery that ties in to the sci-fi crime series. It also has elements that allow it to be an interactive experience without a VR headset.
ABC Family’s social media manager Larry Del Santo tells Variety, “Our strategy was to make the app as inclusive as possible so that you get a great experience whether or not you use the virtual reality viewers.”
