AOL launched its first original long-form documentary series today by posting four episodes of the Morgan Spurlock-produced Connected, which follows the lives of six New Yorkers who filmed themselves.
Dermot McCormack, head of AOL Video, tells The Wall Street Journal, “The hardest thing in the world is to break through these days. [With social media] we are going to try and take a spark and create a flame. We want to create a stir and a conversation around the show.”
