Augmented Reality App Replaces Subway Ads with Art

Augmented reality app NO AD is turning the advertisements found on New York City’s subway walls into digital art.

The app’s current exhibition, Bob-omb, consists of 39 GIFs by 13 artists. Curator RJ Rushmore tells The Creators Project, “I’m excited to do a project where viewers aren’t just thinking about the art, they’re also thinking about the way it’s displayed.”
