Pac-12 Networks, the multiplatform media and content company wholly owned by the 12 universities of the Pac-12 Conference, has partnered with Synacor to launch the “Pac-12 Now” TV Everywhere service for students living in on-campus housing.

Synacor provides the TV Everywhere authentication and authorization platform, extending, via proxy, the existing college student ID management system for each school. Students will use the same ID to access Pac-12 programming that they do to access other online university services. And the relationship includes mobile—Synacor will integrate each campus with Pac-12 Now, the Pac-12 Networks’ TV Everywhere app.
