FOX Sports Regional Networks, home to 44 MLB, NHL and NBA teams’ networks, has renewed its licensing agreement with Burst, a distribution technology platform, to distribute original video content on social and digital platforms to connect with local sports fans and viewers. With the Burst platform, FOX Sports Regional Networks will be able to create exclusive mobile video that will be pushed out on FOX Sports’ digital platforms and on social media in real time.

In addition to distributing mobile video content on digital and social platforms, FOX Sports can crowdsource user-generated mobile video from fans across the networks’ wide range of games and team events. This content can be delivered directly into the live telecast or shared on social media without requiring the fan to download an app to participate.
