British retailer John Lewis's annual Christmas ad has become something of a holiday tradition--and a viral sensation--across the pond. This year, the department store chain uploaded their ad on YouTube but also Facebook. The numbers were telling; Facebook received 40% of the views.
As Tubefilter writes, "The YouTube video had received 4.1 million views while the Facebook video had received 2.8 million views. While that still shows a majority of YouTube viewership, it’s important to note this is the first time John Lewis has uploaded its ad to Facebook at all."
