New Survey Shows Streaming Has Positive Effect on TV Subscriptions

A new survey from TNS shows that streaming may not be cannibalizing pay TV as much as previously thought–in fact, it has a positive effect on those adding channels and services.

The report says that “while streamers are more likely than non-streamers to downgrade their level of traditional pay TV service — 9% versus 6% — they are also more likely to upgrade their level of service — 16% versus 6%.”
