Crackle and Frank N. Magid Associates' second annual "The New Living Room" study delved into how much streaming video has penetrated the average family home. They found that in 2014, 83% of 18-49 years olds stream TV shows and movies at home compared to 74% last year. 90% of millennials (aged 18-34) are streaming those shows and movies.
Connected TVs are the preferred mode of watching the streams, with 62% choosing that platform.
