MTV Promotes New 'Scream' Series with Mysterious Tweets

MTV is promoting its new horror series Scream, based on the '90s Wes Craven franchise, with a series of tweets sent to media and social media influencers that feature horror emojis, a phone number, and the hashtag #mtvscream.

Calling the number gets you a classic line in homage to the original film. "Do you like scary TV?" a digitally altered voice asks before letting you know that Scream is coming to MTV this month.
