A new survey from RBC Capital Markets has revealed that streaming services like Netflix, Amazon and Hulu are on the rise, while video watched on network TV’s websites are on the decline.
Writes The Hollywood Reporter‘s Natalie Jarvey, “Of those polled in September, 42 percent used Netflix to watch movies or TV during the past year, second only to YouTube with 44 percent. Hulu and Amazon ranked third and fourth, respectively, with Amazon clocking the most growth. Meanwhile, TV network services, including ABC.com and NBC.com, have seen a decline in viewership.”
