Wowza Media Systems, LLC, the provider of Simply Powerful Streaming software, has announced that vice president and streaming industry evangelist Chris Knowlton will be among the video technology experts speaking at Next|Video Conference and Expo, set to take place October 1-3, in Pasadena, Calif. Knowlton will discuss the future of video technology, production and delivering in two speaking sessions focused on exploring the benefits and risks of on-premises, cloud and hybrid streaming deployments.

“Streaming video is a powerful and cost-effective way to improve communications and build brand awareness with customers and prospects, yet finding the right solution is a challenge for organizations,” said Knowlton.

As organizations begin to harness the power of video streaming, they will need to determine the best way to build their infrastructure, whether on-premises or in the cloud. Knowlton’s session on Wednesday, October 1, will explore how to stream effectively in the enterprise, and his Thursday, October 2, session will focus on cloud vs. on-premises deployment options.
