ABC Relaunches Second Screen App Based on Big Data

ABC has relaunched its ABC WATCH app based on data about how users have interacted with their second screen app in the past. New features include an integrated social media feed, “FastShare” functionality for easy sharing, and a multi-cam option for select live events.

Albert Cheng, EVP and chief product officer of digital media for the Disney/ABC Television Group, told Variety, “It’s really an example of how we looked at analytics to make our decisions.”
