The consumption of live video is growing on Twitter and presents a new opportunity and platform for content producers.
Writes FORA.tv’s Andrew Edwards, “New data has been published that supports the notion that Twitter is growing views for online video producers. In June 2014, 4.3% of ESPN video views were on Twitter, that’s 20.3 million views out of 472.7 million total views in one month. While 4.3% may seem insignificant, consider that it was 0% two years ago.”
