Facebook and Nielsen Team Up to Track Mobile Viewers

Facebook and Nielsen have announced a partnership that will allow Nielsen to aggregate viewing habits and demographic information on those who are watching TV on their tablets or mobile devices, and are also signed into Facebook.

Cheryl Idell, a Nielsen EVP, tells the Los Angeles Times, “The world is shifting radically, and so we had to evolve our measurement so that we could capture all of this fragmented viewing.”
