EVERGREEN, COLO.– April 5, 2010 – Wowza Media Systems®, the media server company has announced that its unified media server, Wowza Media Server 2 now supports streaming to the world’s leading video-friendly mobile devices including Android™ based smart phones, select Blackberry® phone models, and the just released Apple® iPad®. This expands the Wowza Media Server 2 already market leading set of supported players and devices, which include the iPhone®, Flash®, Silverlight®, and QuickTime™ players, as well as IPTV set-top boxes.
