WOW & FLUTTER Announces Latest Indie Film Music Projects

Santa Monica, CA, November 1, 2006 - Currently celebrating its 10 year anniversary, Wow and Flutter West, one of the most respected and award winning original music, sound design and audio post production companies in Los Angeles, has completed original music and audio post work on a number of independent feature films. Jerry Brunskill, founder, Wow and Flutter West, made the announcement.

Wow and Flutter Post‘s latest indie film projects are:

** “Deep Winter:” Brunskill, operating under Wow and Flutter West‘s Gerald Brunskill Music (GBM) division, wrote and scored the original music for this film, which stars Michael Madsen and Robert Carradine, and was directed by Mikey Hilb. Academy Award-winning mixer Jeffrey Perkins (“Dances with Wolves”) and his partner Eric Justin mixed this film at Wow and Flutter West‘s new “Stage A” mixing theater, as well as provided the sound editorial. “Deep Winter” is the story of a group of best friends who set out to become the first people to ski a dangerous Alaskan peak.

** “L.A. Blues:” This comedy, from writer/director Ian Gurvitz (“Wings,” “Becker,”) stars Anthony Michael Hall, Dave Foley, and George Wendt. For “L.A. Blues,” Wow and Flutter provided extensive mixing and sound editorial services, helmed by the company‘s Ryan Rees, with additional original scoring from Brunskill. The story of the film examines the lives of five friends living in Los Angeles over the course of a year.

** Sleeping Dogs Lie:” Brunskill, again operating under GBM, wrote and scored original music for this film from famed comedian Bobcat Goldthwaite, who wrote and directed. Wow and Flutter also provided all audio post production and sound editorial services. This comedy, which is being released by the Samuel Goldwyn Company, tells the tale of a youthful, impulsive sexual encounter that opens the door to a dark comedy about the complexities of honesty.

NextRadioTV Deploys Extensive MediorNet Routing Solution From Riedel Communications

NextRadioTV has deployed a large-scale MediorNet real-time signal network from Riedel Communications to serve as the backbone for the broadcaster's brand-new audiovisual infrastructure.
