, a leading developer of advanced digital media applications for film and video, today announced that Video Post & Transfer (VPT), a comprehensive creative group in Dallas, Texas, has invested in its third DVNR system equipped with AGR4 ME film grain and video noise management. The company‘s newest DVNR system will be an integral part of VPT‘s new telecine suite, used to manage film grain for clients working on TV commercials, video, and film post-production projects.

Digital Vision‘s DVNR Image Processing Workstation provides the industry‘s fastest motion-compensated grain/noise management and dust/dirt removal tools. This real-time system allows colourists and artists to control and reduce film grain and electronic noise without generating unwanted artefacts. Advanced motion processing and adaptive 3-D filters enable facilities to produce cleaner, sharper pictures from film and video-originated material.

Video Post & Transfer is dedicated to supplying its nationally-recognized creative team with the latest and best in image enhancement technology and is considered an innovator in the post industry. Robert Haasz, General Manager at VPT, said, “We first invested in DVNR motion-compensated systems last year to support our clients‘ restoration work, and have been continually impressed by the image processing quality they provide. When we designed our new telecine suite, we naturally brought in a third DVNR system to ensure that our clients doing commercial work would also be able to produce the best quality pictures in Dallas.”

“VPTs continued investment in DVNR systems is a great testament to the high quality images that these workstations deliver,” said Robert Ekström, President of Digital Vision. “We congratulate them on their continued growth and are committed to helping them achieve their high standards over the long term.”
