VFX Artist/Motion Designer Ann Allen Joins RingSide Creative

DETROIT—Visual effects artist, animator, and motion designer Ann Allen has joined RingSide Creative. Allen arrives from Forest Post, Farmington Hills, and has 14 years of experience in broadcast advertising and corporate media. At RingSide Creative, she will design and execute visual effects and design elements for broadcast commercials, interactive web advertising and other media. Allen brings considerable expertise in various visual effects tools and platforms. That, coupled with her background in design and the enthusiasm and energy she brings to projects, makes her a strong addition to RingSide Creative’s growing team of talented designers. “We are always looking for talent that can add a special twist to our work,� said Dave Peyton RingSide Creative’s director of visual effects. “We were intrigued by Ann’s reel and by her motivation to do the best possible work. She fits the direction we are going and enhances the client experience.� Allen has worked on projects for all of the major Detroit-based automotive brands including Dodge, Chevrolet and Ford, as well as other accounts such as KFC, Petsmart and JBL. Among her specialties are title sequences, logo animations and other motion graphic treatments.

Allen studied design at the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit. She began her career as a print designer with the Handleman Company, where she worked on projects for Wal-mart, K-Mart and other accounts.
