MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA –TVU Networks, the global technology and innovation leader in live IP video solutions, is the recipient of a NewBay Media Best of Show Award, presented last month at the 2017 IBC Show. TVU Networks was honored with an award from TVBEurope for its new TVU Router solution – which provides secure, reliable and high-speed Internet connectivity to connected devices from remote locations.

TVU Networks showed TVU Router for the first time in Europe at IBC 2017. Enabling easy sending and receiving of IP-based data, the solution provides over 200Mbps of reliable, untethered Internet connectivity from virtually any remote location. With TVU Router as a portable field access point, users can transfer and receive files, stream video, search the web, and utilize any IP connected device or service to pass data for a high speed, reliable and secure data connection.

TVU Router incorporates TVU’s proprietary Inverse StatMux Plus (IS+) technology - an IP technology that’s used to provide a high bandwidth IP connection by aggregating and maximizing multiple cellular, WiFi, Satellite, Microwave and even BGAN connections for data transmission. TVU Router is a software option for TVUPack and TVU One users. The solution serves as a useful tool for news and sports reporters, and for any other broadcast environment where reporters are producing stories in the field.
