Tucson Film & Music Festival Announces Complete Line Up & New Film Venue And HQ For the 2011 Event

The Tucson Film & Music Festival (TFMF) is thrilled to announce the complete entertainment line-up for the seventh annual event which heats up Oct. 6-10, 2011. To view this year’s festival film and music offerings please visit:

The festival’s 2011 films include an unprecedented documentary feature line up including Better Than Something: Jay Reatard, Bloodied But Unbowed, Kumaré, Barbershop Punk, Color Me Obsessed: A film about The Replacements, Blood, Sweat + Vinyl: DIY in the 21st Century and The Anatomy of Vince Guaraldi. Narrative features include the Southwest Premiere of the indie comedy Pleasant People and the Arizona Premiere of Take Me Home directed by and starring Sam Jaeger of NBC’s Parenthood. Short films, music videos and live music performances are also part of the exciting program slate. Individual screening tickets are now on sale. The festival’s new primary film venue is the Century 20 El Con Theater located at 3601 E. Broadway Road in central Tucson, AZ. Special screening events will also be held at The Loft Cinema, The Rialto Theatre and The Hut. TFMF’s new festival headquarters is Café Passé, 415 N. 4th Avenue in downtown Tucson, where there will be festival programs, promotional film items, all-access badges for sale and one can enjoy a tasty beverage. TFMF is proud to welcome returning sponsors Cox Communications and Hanson Film Institute at the University of Arizona.
