“Sushi & Nuclear” Makes the Cut at American Documentary Film Festival

Logan & Sons director Christian Alexander Holm-Glad’s "Sushi & Nuclear" documentary will be screened at this year’s American Documentary Film Festival in Palm Springs, CA.

Logan & Sons director Christian Alexander Holm-Glad’s “Sushi & Nuclear” documentary will be screened at this year’s American Documentary Film Festival in Palm Springs, CA. The 12-minute short film is a picturesque reel of vibrant landscapes and fluorescent streets, following narrator Sunniva Rose in her journey through Japan as she humanizes some of the finer points of nuclear physics.

“It’s truly an honor to have my film selected for the AmDocs” says Holm-Glad. “The U.S. is a blend of cultural identities and distinct perspectives, I can’t think of a better place to introduce a Scandinavian film set in Japan. My goal was to present scientific facts in such a poetic and visually appealing way, that even a viewer who watches it purely for aesthetics can learn something in the process. I think we have succeeded in that regard with this film.”
