St. Louis, Missouri, 13 February 2008 — Studio Network Solutions (SNS), a premier provider of post production storage systems for video and audio, today announced it will showcase the newest extension to its product family, the Ellipse™ Enterprise Fibre Channel HBA for Mac OS X, on booth SL8208 at NAB 2008.

The new Ellipse Enterprise Fibre Channel HBA (Host Bus Adapter) delivers an industry breakthrough: the ability for Mac servers and workstations to reliably use the high-availability multipathing features in enterprise-class storage systems from IBM, EMC, LSI, SUN, and others.
“Many storage professionals have learned that getting Mac servers to integrate and work flawlessly with their enterprise SAN is a challenging task. Significant obstacles have always existed when presenting storage from EMC, IBM and other first tier providers to a Mac, stated Jeremy Strootman, Director of Worldwide Sales at Studio Network Solutions. “The Ellipse Enterprise HBA addresses the goal of reliably integrating Mac systems into a large corporation’s storage strategy.

Along with Ellipse Enterprise, SNS will also be showcasing Evo, the revolutionary shared storage solution that includes 10Gb iSCSI SAN & NAS, multiple 4Gb Fibre Channel and the ability to bridge existing storage all in one box. There will also be demonstrations of The Postmap Operating Environment, the companies’ established search and asset management software for creative workgroups that has complete integration with SANmp.
Visitors to the SNS booth will be able to have hands-on demonstrations of the entire SNS product line, as well as meet with Ted Richardson, SNS’s Director of Product Management and Jeremy Strootman, Director of Worldwide Sales.
