Ultra slo motion inside the goal from Polecam & Camera Corps

London, UK, 23rd May 2017:

Camera Corps, world leaders in supplying speciality remote cameras are collaborating with Polecam Systems and have designed a specialised camera rig giving a new and exciting viewer experience for soccer but which would equally apply to other sports for both for the viewer experience and analysis too.

Polecam, a lightweight jib, is set up in a low profile configuration behind each goal. Polecam’s remote head is fitted with a high speed minicam which is able to shoot the game through the goal net giving the effect to the viewer of standing right inside the goal and seeing the action in stunning high definition ultra slow motion. The Polecam operator can quickly move the camera to follow the ball in play even towards the sides of the goal, so nothing is missed. Because the rig is low profile the view is not blocked for the spectators behind the goal. The camera provides a live real-time output as well as an instant ultra slo-mo replay.

Camera Corp’s Managing Director, Phil Becket said: “We’ve worked with Polecam for many years at the highest profile sporting events and we’ve consistently produced amazing viewer experience shots on many sports and aquatic events. Adding the ultra-motion minicam takes it to another level and this soccer configuration is outstanding.”
