Signiant’s Digital Media Distribution Management Solution Interoperates with HP Media Storage Solutions
Signiant®, Inc., the leading developer of digital media distribution management solutions (DMDMS) for the telco, media and entertainment industries, today announced it has been accepted into the HP Communications Media & Entertainment (CME) Partner Program within the HP Developer & Solution Partner Program (DSPP). Signiant is the only DSPP member that has been validated for integration of file-based workflow with HP Media Storage solutions.

“Joining the HP DSPP helps Signiant to deliver a cost-efficient, end-to-end digital media infrastructure for customers that are looking to streamline every aspect of their digital media workflows to capitalize on new and emerging business models,â€? said Julie Blaisdell, vice president of global strategic alliances, Signiant. “Leveraging HP technology is part of our strategy to form alliances with the leaders in media and entertainment technology. We are proud of these relationships and benefits, and many of our customers are already recognizing the rewards of our joint solutions.”

Customers taking advantage of DMDMS and the scalability and reliability of HP ProLiant servers and HP Media Storage solutions will have a strong foundation to manage and automate the movement or distribution of media assets, and a comprehensive workflow that integrates various aspects of the digital content lifecycle.
“Media, entertainment and service provider companies around the world are looking for their technology environments to help cut costs, manage growth and lower risk to the business,â€? said Jay Cherrington, manager, Communications, Media, and Entertainment Alliances, HP. “Signiant’s DMDMS combined with HP’s broad portfolio of digital media, server and storage solutions can help customers achieve those goals.”
