Greenfield, Minnesota, October 17, 2014 – On a mission to find a brighter and more convenient projector, Dennis Strong, Pastor and Administrator at Salem Lutheran Church in Greenfield, Minnesota, found the solution in Hitachi’s CP-WX8255A projector. Salem Lutheran Church, which has 630 members, needed a new projector primarily to show video content and presentations.

“We have been using a smaller projector on a cart that had to be wheeled out into the aisle when we wanted to use it,” explained Pastor Strong. “We wanted a high-performance projector that also would be up and out of the way.”

Having a projector in the middle of the aisle in the sanctuary was a problem for the churchgoers, as well as a potential fire hazard, Pastor Strong noted. Hitachi was able to provide what the Church needed. “The new projector is surface mounted onto the front of the rear balcony,” said Pastor Strong. “We use it to show videos and presentations during church gatherings and sermons.”

Finding a projector that met the Church’s needs came after a lot of research. “The CP-WX8255A was recommended by our audio-visual supplier, Jeanne Schultz from Point Of Power. The projector had exactly what we needed,” said Pastor Strong.

Since the installation of the projector, the Church is happy with the final result. “It is less hassle getting presentations ready because we do not need to wheel in the projector on a cart. It’s already set up,” said Pastor Strong. “It has high brightness and it is great to have it mounted and out of the way. We have had a few church members comment on how convenient the projector is and how beneficial it is to have the projector mounted.”
