PrimalScream Music has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). The company was founded by Creative Director Nicole Dionne in 1997, and is known for brand elevating music for commercials, promos and other motion media.
Nicole Dionne has always had her finger on the musical pulse and translated her passion and creative instinct into PrimalScream Music. The company launched with several high-profile campaigns including Lexus, Guinness, American Express, Canon, Intel, Gatorade, Nike, AT&T and Ford. Positive trade press and industry recognition followed, with PrimalScream winning a Clio and two AICP awards right out of the gate. With Nicole as key creative director, PrimalScream was then awarded the BMW Films campaign for original music and sound design for the series of short brand films entitled “The Hire”. PrimalScream has since gone on to create signature music for FX, Summer’s Eve, RAM, Firestone, Hyundai, FORD, McDonald’s, Starz and more.
PrimalScream Music’s roster of artists reads like a who’s who of the music industry: Juliette Commagere, Gram Rabbit, Tim Easton, Marc Broussard, Pedestrian, Robert Francis, Remy Zero, Godhead, Caitlin Crosby, Klaus Badelt (“Poseidon”), Producer Stuart Brawley (Emmy Rossum), Doug Pettibone (Lucinda Williams), Damon Johnson (Seal and Miles Davis), and Joachim Cooder – just to name a few.
