Noted futurist Ted Schilowitz will offer the opening keynote address for the 2020 virtual version of Media Financial Management Association’s (MFM’s) Media Outlook 2021 seminar. He will offer a forward-looking take on how content will be created and consumed going forward. As the futurist at Paramount pictures, Schilowitz works with studio leadership and the technology teams at Paramount/Viacom/CBS, exploring forms of new and emerging technologies, with an emphasis on virtual and mixed reality. His session is set for October 20 at 1:00 pm ET. The theme for this year’s four-hour seminar, spread over two days, is The Future is Now – Progress, Profit, People.
Schilowitz has carved out a unique role for himself in the motion picture and entertainment industry. Prior to joining Paramount, he was the Futurist at 20th Century Fox, where he worked on the evolving art, science and technology of advanced interactive visual storytelling. Known for his work in both virtual and mixed reality, Schilowitz has consulted worldwide consulted worldwide for the movie, TV, interactive, and gaming industries.

Dates for the virtual events are Tuesday, October 20 – 1:00 pm ET to 3:00 pm ET and Wednesday, October 21 – 1:00 pm ET to 3:00 pm ET.
Participants registered for the seminar will be eligible to receive up to four (4) CPE credits toward their certified public accounting (CPA) license. MFM is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
