New York, NY – (September 9, 2008) -- Outside Editorial’s prolific collaboration with Old Navy Marketing and Chandelier Creative adds two new spots to the retailer’s successful ’08 ad campaign. The spots entitled “Kids� and “Denim� (30 seconds each) capture the excitement of back-to-school shopping and reiterates the Old Navy brand, connecting its fashions to a broad demographic. Providing stellar editorial and graphics similar to previous commercial work with Old Navy Marketing, the team at Outside Editorial refreshed the color palette with brilliant rainbow-colored graphics, accenting the dabs of pastel-colored set pieces. “Kids� presents an exciting children’s art project set in a picturesque park. These kids exhibit creativity in style, sporting the latest fashions featured in the “Calling All Kids Sale.� By day’s end, the children create a magnificent mural depicting an array of playful images including an airplane, dinosaurs, fish and more. “Denim� is a montage sequence of young parents and friends gearing up for one last park-picnic before the new school year. The spot showcases Old Navy’s multiple denim styles for all ages. It begins atop a sun-lit loft where a father hoists his daughter to grab a picnic basket tucked among pastel-colored books. Meanwhile, the single friends are shopping at Old Navy, finishing daily odds-and-ends, and one is even buying a paisley kite. The spot concludes at the park where the boisterous children run circles around the adults sprawled on a yellow blanket.
