New York, NY – (November 24, 2008) -- Outside’s prolific collaboration with Chandelier Creative ushers in the holiday shopping season with a vibrant ad campaign promoting Old Navy’s “After Thanksgiving Sale,� “Holiday Branding� and “Outerwear Sale.� Drawing upon the success of their ongoing collaboration with Old Navy, Outside contributed editorial and graphics, jazzing up the holiday palette to the spirit of the Old Navy brand while maintaining the overall aesthetic of the year’s continuous ad campaign. Set to the drum of Bow Wow Wow’s hit ‘80s jingle, “I Want Candy,� the 10-spot campaign (including 2 :30s and 8 :15s spots) is highlighted by vivid holiday-inspired props, backdrops and sets, all of which coordinate beautifully with the vibrant color-scheme a la Old Navy’s signature fashions. 30-second “Holiday Branding� sets the tone for Old Navy’s holiday season, highlighting the fun of giving and receiving presents. Vivacious models embrace colorful gift-wrapped boxes and celebrate under flurrying confetti and billowing ribbons. “ATS� (also :30) breathes vibrant color into the monochromatic holiday slogan Black Friday. Flickering neon signage spells out “50% off,� “sweet deals� and “Old Navy,� as models gleefully frolic, sporting Old Navy attire. “Outerwear,� the first :15 spot, is a unique montage sequence showcasing Old Navy’s dazzling array of outerwear. The commercial creatively plays on the function and design of each fashion: as each jacket is unzipped, the camera zooms-in before morphing into the next style. The remaining 15-second spots will begin airing between now and the end of the year.
