The Original iPhone Film Fest (OIFF) hosts, “”Pocket Film Studio: The iPhone Revolution,” at this year’s SXSW Interactive festival. Do you have an iPhone™, iPod Touch™ or iPad3™? Then there’s a film studio in your pocket! Apple iOS devices are powerful filmmaking tools that have dramatically leveled the playing field and now allow anyone with a story to tell access to robust shoot & edit technology. This panel brings together filmmakers and technology experts to discuss the creative possibilities and personal & professional opportunities available because of this new digital filmmaking equipment and the supporting community. Serenity Caldwell the Senior Editor at Macworld Magazine, Director/Cinematographer Caleb Deschanel, Writer/Director Michael Koerbel of Majek Pictures, and Sean Safreed the Co-Founder of Red Giant Software will discuss this filmmaking revolution with moderator and OIFF Co-Founder Matthew Dessner.
