MelroseMAC’s “Melrose Video Professionals” Grows With Addition of Top Level Engineers in 3D & Installation Design

Studio-Level Workflow Solutions & Service Division

Continues Growth In Hollywood & Burbank Locations

Los Angeles, CA – Computer systems integration company MelroseMAC is continuing to grow its Melrose Video Professionals (MVP) division, adding two new industry veterans to the team: Gary Carter, who has been brought on to expand MVP’s 3D workflow expertise and Kevin Sanders, who will function to widen MVP’s installation and design bandwidth.

MVP, which launched in June of 2010 with the mission of servicing studio-level film and television clientele, guided by Director of Business Development, Joel Epps, has continued to grow its staff, now numbering at 7 highly regarded members of the production & post community after the new additions of Carter and Sanders.

Kevin Sanders has been in the Entertainment Industry for over forty years and has spent over twenty-five of those years engineering innovative and cutting edge technology solutions to the most complex problems facing the motion picture and television industry. He has held positions that range from Chief Engineer to Senior Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer for such companies as Ascent Media, Technicolor, 4MC, Liberty Livewire, Digital Image, Video Research Corporation, Encore Video, Compact Video, Varitel Video and World Communications.

Kevin has also been the recipient of many industry accolades for Engineering Excellence over the years and continues to display an uncanny ability to predict motion picture and television industry technology trends. “Seeing a technology trend that will be widely adopted before it is widely known is only half the job, the other half is finding out if and where the profits can be made by anyone adopting that technology.”

Gary Carter is deeply involved in the Hollywood production community beginning as the first broadcast product manager at Panasonic Broadcast, Western regional Manager for Hitachi, Dir. of Marketing and Sales at FOR-A, Corp, and Director of Tech Ops for Studio Exchange, Inc. Recently Gary was the first person to demonstrate live 3D to the Russian Film industry and he is noted as one of the most technically oriented sales engineers in the field.

“Overall, I’m a very lucky guy,” said Gary Carter. “In my career I’ve been at the beginning of a great many successes, and have actually been able to listen and learn what it takes do it right, and then apply that it so many ways. In the end, it’s all about storytelling, and I’m always happy to facilitate that process.”
