Media Distributors Launches Workflow & Technology Solutions Group as New Division

Studio City, CA, Aug. 6, 2008 — Media Distributors, America’s leading distributor of professional products, systems and services for entertainment and enterprise, has launched a new company division, entitled the “Workflow & Technology Solutions Group.â€? The new division will work in conjunction with the company’s “Rental Stationâ€? division, which allows Media Distributors the ability to provide Apple products, including Apple’s Final Cut Pro and Apple’s Mac Pro, to the Hollywood/entertainment community. Steve Klein, CEO, and Richard Myerson, President, Media Distributors, made the announcement.

Among the group’s special solution capabilities will be the set up of HD/2K/4K workflows, telecine, facility builds, and wire CAD designs.�

Tony Cahill- Manager, Workflow & Technology Solutions Group:

With a strong background in engineering, Solution Designer for SAN Storage, automated workflow, archiving, digital delivery, DVD publishing, software application design for Post, Video Production & Broadcasting in Avid Unity, Pro-Tools & FCP environments, Tony Cahill continues to work with all major studios and Post Production Houses nationwide. He is also an expert in the design of automated workflow solutions, archiving, storage and asset management solutions for Post Production & Broadcasting. Tony also has a background in Imaging, Supply Chain & Asset Management.

Nathan Adams-Senior Account Executive:

Nathan Adams has a tremendous wealth of knowledge in developing the correct editing environment. He has a background in designing workflows for Apple Final Cut for off-line editing, on-line editing, audio sweetening, Color Grading & Finishing. Nathan is often consulted by many customers to help design their process for HD editing workflows and digital file distribution. In his role at the new group, Nate will focus his efforts on video and editing system sales and rentals, as well as integrated technology solutions

Adam Wasserman- Senior Account Executive:

In his position as Senior Account Executive, Adam harnesses his extensive video systems sales and technical expertise to further extend Media Distributors’ product and services portfolio to its clients. Adam has worked in the computer and video solutions industry for 10 years. His success comes from his intimate technical knowledge of Post Production workflow and his determination to find the best possible solutions for his clients. Adam has worked with clients in a variety of capacities, including, Final Cut Pro Sales and Rentals, SAN solutions, facility design and build, workflow consultation and technical support.

Andrew Medina-Account Executive:

With a proven track record in networking, database design and back-up solutions, Andrew Medina has worked with many organizations throughout Southern California. He is regularly consulted for his capabilities of designing and implementing workflow collaboration and review/approval applications by customers with world wide infrastructures.

Patrick Thometz – National Manager, Duplication & Publishing Systems:

Patrick Thometz is a Certified Sales Engineer for Rimage & Primera systems, and is considered an industry expert in the area of disc and duplication technologies, systems design and all related applications associated with disc publishing.

Craig Quinlan-Technology Support Manager:

Craig Quinlan has a solid background in HD video editing and all areas of post production. He has developed on-line digital workflows for file based delivery, and is considered an industry expert on maximizing the capabilities of Apple Final Cut Studio, optimizing workflow through all facets of the post production process.

Bob Finnan-Operations Supervisor – The Rental Station-Mobile and
Edit Suite Rentals:

As one of the select U.S. Pro Video Value Added Resellers (VAR) of Apple products, Media Distributors’ editing systems rental company, “The Rental Station,� is spearheaded by Bob Finnan as Operations Supervisor. Bob has extensive expertise in business workflow, customer service and sales support.
