Studio City, CA (July 7, 2008) - Studio City, California based Media City Sound is currently mixing audio for “Battleground, Earth: Ludacris vs. Tommy Lee" starring Tommy Lee and Ludacris. "Battleground, Earth will make its debut this summer as part of the launch of the new DISCOVERY Network’s Eco-channel: PLANET GREEN. The Planet Green Channel will premiere in over 50 million homes. Produced by the Greif Company for Planet Green, Battleground Earth's producing team is comprised of Leslie Greif (EP/Creator: “Gene Simmons Family Jewels, “Walker: Texas Ranger, “Brando, “Keys to Tulsa), Adam Reed (EP/Creator: “Gene Simmons Family Jewels), Steve Jones (EP/Creator: “Bodog Battle of the Bands, “Housecat Housecalls) & Jonathan McHugh (EP: “Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror, “Repo, the Genetic Opera). “Battleground, Earth: Ludacris vs. Tommy Lee" will pit rap star Ludacris against rock star Tommy Lee. These two unlikely spokesmen for saving the planet are committed to the green movement and will demonstrate in no uncertain terms that you can be really cool and still be green. Dr. Allen Hershkowitz, preeminent green scientist for the NRDC (responsible for greening the Oscars, Grammys, NBA, and MLB), said this about “Battleground Earth: “If you guys can make the environmental movement sexy, you will have done a great thing for the planet. Media City Sound's Lisa Blackwood Hope said. "We so pleased to be working on Battleground Earth. This series is a great way to further the green movement. And what better way to accomplish that goal than with a noted hip hop icon and a legendary rock star going head to head in a "GREEN" show down!
