STUDIO CITY, CALIFORNIA'S MEDIA CITY SOUND JUMPS INTO THE MIX FOR TONIGHT'S DEBUT OF FOX TV'S "THE MOMENT OF TRUTH"

Studio City, CA (January 23, 2008) - Studio City, California based Media City Sound is in the mix for FOX-TV's highly anticipated new show, The Moment of Truth. The company is handling the show's sound and mixing duties as it premieres tonight (23) on FOX. Media City Sound Vice President Lisa Blackwood Hope noted, "We are very excited to be mixing this highly emotional and intense game show. It's a great experience to have the creative vision of Mike Darnell in house personally guiding the process of building excitement and emotion, maximizing the use of every sound element from music to the “Moment of Truth customized sound design, created here at MCS. You can’t pull yourself away from this show! It’s sure to be a huge success." To win the $500,000 grand prize, contestants must truthfully answer 21 questions about themselves in front of their family, friends, co-workers, an audience and everyone watching after American Idol. (The show debuts 8 p.m. tonight) Contestants can walk away with less money at six different levels in the game. Prior to filming, contestants are hooked up to a polygraph machine and asked 50 to 75 personal questions, such as "Have you ever made a sexy video and uploaded to the Internet?" and "Do you think you'll still be married to your husband five years from now?" Players are asked 21 of those questions during filming. "I think the show is going to rock America," says executive producer and creator Howard Schultz. "I think it's going to be talked about around every water cooler and coffee pot in the country." "It's the only game show in the history of the world where you know all the questions and all the answers," boasts Mike Darnell, Fox's president of alternative entertainment. He bought The Moment of Truth away from NBC after the network decided not to turn the potentially scandalous game show into a series. He even gave the program the prime-time sweet spot after American Idol. # # # #
