Mdots Named Creative Agency of Record for North by Northwest Entertainment

Publish date:

Hollywood, CA, November 1, 2006 - Mdots has been named the Creative Agency of record for feature film production and distribution company North By Northwest Entertainment. The announcement was made today by Emmy Award winner Allan Wells, president/founder, and Marc Dahlstrom, Managing Director, Mdots.

Mdots has completed its first large scale print graphics project on behalf of North By Northwest in conjunction with that company‘s attendance at the American Film Market (AFM). This print work includes the design and production of movie posters, key art, brochures and fliers promoting five of the company‘s films. These films are comprised of two thrillers, “Three” and “The Insatiable,” two comedies, “Senior Skip Day” and “Kids in America,” and the horror film “Big Bad Wolf,” for which Mdots also provided writing, editorial and graphics for the trailer campaign and the opening title sequence for the film.

Tay Voye, General Manager, North By Northwest Entertainment, said, “Mdots did an exciting and great job in their print and trailer work on our behalf for our AFM presence. Their development of taglines and marketing materials that sell have really elevated our product and our company‘s image. We‘ve always felt our materials were very good, but Mdots has taken us to a higher level of quality.”

Mdots Creative Director Marty Wall added, “Working with Tay and his team and with the filmmakers has been a very collaborative and successful effort. Helping them define the branding of their films and how to communicate that message to buyers and consumers has been very rewarding creatively.”
