LARGO, Fla. -- May 25, 2017 --

Just Add Power (J+P), the leader in Ultra HD over IP, will display the new additions to its family of 2GO/3G devices, the new 2GO/3G+ Power over Ethernet (PoE) VBS-HDMI-715POE transmitter and VBS-HDMI-515POE receiver. With these solutions, integrators can build a scalable and cost-effective infrastructure to distribute sources up to 1080p resolution or meet evolving 4K requirements by mixing and matching devices, with 2GO devices on 1080p sources and 3G on 4K sources.

"Integrators are challenged to meet the needs of 1080p resolutions and 4K sources in one install, and they might have customers contemplating an upgrade to 4K in the future," said Taft Stricklin, sales team manager at J+P. "We designed the 2GO/3G+ devices as an affordable solution that bridges this gap, scaling the devices as needed and as project requirements change. These two new devices expand on the 2GO/3G's versatility, providing a true systems approach to today's video demands."

The new 2GO/3G+ PoE models combine the enhanced audio and feature set of the 3G system with the maximum 1080p resolution of 2G devices. Both also boast support for 1080p video with HDCP 1.4, all lossless audio formats including Dolby Atmos(R), control endpoints with RS-232 and IR (using VBS-HDMI-IRD), stereo audio output with 170ms audio delay, CEC control, and image play capabilities. The receiver features integrated scaling, enhanced video wall with rotation option, and USB 2.0 over IP. The transmitter offers HDMI pass-through and USB 2.0 functionality. As with all models in the J+P lineup, the 2GO/3G+ PoE solutions integrate seamlessly with both 2G and 3G, allowing integrators to build a future-proof infrastructure that suits any application requirement.

All models of J+P 2GO/3G+ PoE devices are shipping worldwide. For more information, visit

About Just Add Power (J+P)

Just Add Power (J+P) was founded in 1992 by a group of former employees from the IBM Corporation. The motivation behind the company and the name was to come to the market with applications that totally support customers, their investment, and are easy to use. With the 2009 introduction of the HDIP™ solution for distributing HDMI(R) over IP networks, the company has become well known across many new markets.

The J+P design and manufacturing philosophy is evolutionary, not revolutionary. For example, customers who invested in our solution in 2009 can still purchase new Transmitters and Receivers today to expand and maintain their system. J+P takes pride in having created an infrastructure that can be sustained and manufactured reliably for many years, making improvements through free firmware updates. When the company adds features that can't be done through firmware alone, it builds new hardware with an eye towards backwards compatibility. The J+P evolutionary product design philosophy ensures the protection of the customers' investment, and increases system value over time.
